A cybersecurity specialist is a person who protects a company’s digital infrastructure from hackers, viruses, malware, and other cyber threats. They actively work to ensure that the organization's data, networks, and systems are secure from external and internal dangers.

A cybersecurity specialist is responsible for developing security policies, monitoring system security, identifying vulnerabilities in a timely manner, and preventing incidents. They regularly analyze systems, use specialized software tools to detect threats, and conduct training with partners to reduce errors caused by inexperience.

Most importantly, the specialist often responds to cyber incidents, collects evidence, and assists investigations to determine the source and scale of attacks. Additionally, they continuously learn about new defense mechanisms to be prepared for potential future attacks.
